Generational Retrospective is a two-part exhibition showcasing two different trajectories one of father and one of son. Part one features outsider artist Richard Tracy, more affectionately known as “RichArt”. Both a teacher and artist Richard spent a varied career in eastern and central Washington slowly becoming an icon in the folk art world. In the late 1980’s Richard settled in Centralia Washington and began transforming his home through installational collage based art, ultimately developing the work he is best known for called “Art Yard”.
Generational Retrospective Pt. 1 features recent works from Richard Tracy. Although “Art Yard” no longer exists he has translated the same spontaneous dynamic to his low relief multi-media works that will be featured in Fulcrum Gallery.
