Blown Glass Installation 2008
This collaboration between artists Joseph Miller and Oliver Doriss was specifically designed for display within the W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory in Tacoma Washington. The installation is intended to address and compliment both this historic structures clean aesthetic and Tacoma’s current place within the history of glass. These Pieces interact with the environment of the conservatory, rusting, growing, evaporating, and condensating. Participating in these daily cycles that mimic the often-invisible mechanics of the larger world in which we live.
