These unique venues once served as the conduit to obscure artists, underground aesthetics, and cultural movements. With the proliferation of social media, internet access and the technological advances in personal communications devices we now have full access to everything including the artist that we once hosted.
The typical gallery business model depends on the sale of artwork to keep the lights on. However as apartments shrink, tastes change and budgets fluctuate counting on the sale of artwork to support the business is no longer a viable option.

As we are now in our nineteenth year of operation Fulcrum Gallery has become a staple in the Hilltop Neighborhood. Many people have expressed their love and admiration for this establishment regardless of their art collecting status. This venue serves not just as a fine arts display venue but a meeting place for like minded individuals. A space holder amongst the beige and plain storefronts that seem to have over taken many small cities.

We are now in a subscription economy, think of all the subscriptions that are a regular part of life Netflix, Spotify, and of course cell phones. Fulcrum Gallery is experimenting with this model as well, we are evolving in order to support the programming in the up coming years.
